BE4ALL releases original Toolbox Talks every other month. BE4ALL’s mission is to create a culture of excellence, foster a welcoming work environment for all of our members and retain our skilled workforce. The wide distribution of these Toolbox Talks will help ensure that the entire unionized sheet metal industry has one consistent message — from our training centers, to our jobsites, to our union halls. These Toolbox Talks demonstrate why sheet metal is and should be the “go-to” craft in the construction industry.
The expectation is that these Toolbox Talks will ensure increased worker productivity; reduce bullying, harassment, hazing and discrimination on jobsites; and promote solidarity among our members.

BE4ALL launches first Toolbox Talk
The Belonging and Excellence for ALL (BE4ALL) Committee launched its first-ever Toolbox Talk on January 19, 2023 — the initial step in an ongoing effort designed to educate, spread awareness and help strengthen SMART and the unionized sheet metal industry.
Second BE4ALL Toolbox Talk promotes “Effective Communication”
The Belonging and Excellence for All (BE4ALL) Committee launched its second Toolbox Talk on March 16 – part of the committee’s ongoing work to strengthen SMART and the unionized sheet metal industry by making all members feel welcome, on and off the job.
