Remembrance Day (Canada)

In Canada – A day for all Canadians to remember the men and women who served and sacrificed for their country. Every individual, young and old, is encouraged to pause, give thanks and remember. Canadians recognize Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, every November 11 at 11 a.m. It marks the end of hostilities during the First World War and an opportunity to recall all those who have served in the nation’s defense.
